About Me

I am a Winthrop University alumna from the class of 2024. I have a bachelor's in mass communication with a concentration in journalism. I minored in peace, justice and conflict resolution as well as human resource management.

While at Winthrop I was the Editor-in-Chief of the school paper, The Johnsonian, and I work behind the scenes on the Roddey McMillan Record (RMR), too. The RMR is one of the oldest multicultural magazines in the country, and The Johnsonian is an award winning publication recognized for its excellence by the South Carolina Press Association. Lastly, I contributed to The Palmetto Report during a course on convergent journalism in fall 2022.

I have experience with video, audio and print mediums. Visitors will find packages, on-camera interviews and articles published both digitally and in print in my portfolio.

Print is my primary medium, and I am proficient in copy editing, layout design and graphic design.

I have strong communication, management and leadership skills. In the past I worked closely with administrators and fellow leaders at my alma mater to facilitate campus-wide conversations about accessibility, infrastructure and student safety.

I am curious, and always eager to learn from others. Everyone has something valuable to say, and that I have a responsibility to listen.
