About Me
I’m a proud 2024 graduate of Winthrop University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a concentration in journalism. Along the way, I also explored my passions for social impact and organizational dynamics through minors in peace, justice, and conflict resolution, and human resource management.
At Winthrop, I had the privilege of serving as Editor-in-Chief of The Johnsonian, our award-winning student newspaper recognized by the South Carolina Press Association. I also brought stories to life through The Palmetto Report during a convergent journalism course in Fall 2022—diving into video, audio, and digital formats.
My portfolio reflects a wide range of storytelling: from print features and digital articles to on-camera interviews and multimedia packages. While I’m versatile across formats, print remains my first love. I'm fluent in the language of copy editing, layout design, and graphic design—crafting stories not just through words, but through thoughtful presentation.
Beyond the newsroom, I’ve worked alongside campus leaders and administrators to lead meaningful conversations around accessibility, infrastructure and student safety. I thrive in collaborative spaces where communication, leadership and empathy matter.
Curiosity drives me. I believe everyone has a story worth telling—and I take seriously the responsibility to listen.
